COMPARE THE WHOLE JOURNEY
Getting to your departure airport.
A lower airfare can come with a different ground journey. These connections are outside the price index. Source guidance checked September 10, 2026; verify service for your travel day.
JFK
Rail, then AirTrain.
JFK's public-transport guide connects its AirTrain with the subway and Long Island Rail Road. Compare the Jamaica or Howard Beach connection with your starting point and terminal. The rail journey and airport transfer are separate parts of your travel time.
Newark's AirTrain connects with NJ Transit and Amtrak at the airport train station. Build in the terminal connection as well as the main train journey. Use current airport advisories to check construction or service changes before choosing an early departure.
LaGuardia's public-bus guide lists the Q70 LaGuardia Link for subway connections and the M60-SBS for Upper Manhattan. Check the stop and terminal on the current route map. LaGuardia also provides a shuttle between airport terminals.
